Darkness (Free verse) by The_Shadows_Smile
Beautiful night Beauty in death Surrounded in nothingness The skies are black The future is foggy What is beyond death? Nothing? Hate? Love? Pain? No man can know Because they are in darkness The darkness they created The pain they manifested The misery they caused The sorrow of having NOT come to terms with they're own life They walk the narrow path of light and Dark forever Only to intertwine thier life with the never ending sorrow To make the misery they feel real To manifest more pain Never leaving this saddened state Trapped forever in thier own darkness

Up the ladder: Ode to Molly
Down the ladder: Surpass the Dream

Ok!! Sure thing The_Shadows_Smile! You really figured me out this time!! The only possible reason I could for not liking your poetry is that I am too wrapped up in my own mediocre poetry!! Because you clearly have real talent! And anyone who doesn't like it must have a psychological problem, which you, as a qualified psychology expert, have generously identified for me!! Thanks!! I'll remember in future that if I don't like something, it must be because I am self-obsessed, and not because it's a monumental travesty of goth BS!!! Bye!!!1

First off I did not say I was a psychology expert. Or did I say that? If I did......please inform me where I said that.

Second: Look at the stuff you write. Can it be analyzed to a deep seeded plack in the minds of others?

"He scaled a wall
Which was six feet tall
To break into the pool
At his local school.

He then realised he couldn't swim.
And drowned.

Stupid fuck."

That sounds Gothic in it's own way. Don't you agree?

Either you are a psychology expert or your mystical insights into my mind are BS.

No, I don't agree. 'Dead Boy' is about as far from 'Gothic' as you can get. To illustrate the difference, I have rewritten it in a 'Gothic' style. You might want to check it out!!!!!!!1

If tey're walking the narrow path of light and dark, how come they're wrapped in their own darkness forever? How does that work?
