Another Julie (Free verse) by Brennan
A breath we took You glanced at me My heart called out beware So oft we stumble judgement's grip When beauty's eyes ensnare Ring true the toll the bell have chimed As night begets the day May that which cloaks in darkness dim Fall not in disarray Such feeble words off crimson lips In bifarcated heart No tears No trance No tempted kiss No stitch to seam this part In whispers found a promised love Where echoes but remain And knows the soul been cast aside No other worldly pain Though ever waits my blinded eyes For that which came and gone A silent wish calls out the night So does my heart beat on So oft we stumble judgement's grip So does my love beat on

Wow. I'm suprised at how good this is. Usually this style is executed very badly.
