Howl For Clarity (for Jeff Buckley) (Lyric) by Bachus
My curtains are drawn tight now On this day When slumber becomes a habit I'll choose to lay Jeff Buckley drowned in a river Now that's a shame That the Wolf in Tennessee Shares your name So come and get your clarity when you step down you feel pathetic but that's okay Time is my true friend now Cuz it sleeps with me When Atlas rubs his sore shoulder He drinks green tea I heard your face just purchased twilight You must be the sunset queen But can you ever relinquish This pain i've seen So come and get your clarity When you got down You turned contagious Are you okay ? The urge comes after midnight It wants to play So, I pull out my little bottle to feel okay Let's salute the fallen artists We know them well They took the time to form and structure this place called hell So come and get your clarity If we run out don't feel pathetic You'll be okay

Up the ladder: Mother!

the show went very well..standing o...my singing was a touch shaky, but my acting picked up the slack...i'm on again next fri and sun, we'll see if my notes will fix the ruff spots..i'm sure they will..no one noticed but me..life is never perfect..so..sometimes that is naturaly evident and present when you do a show..you know? well..pray your well too.ciao bella.

You gotta love Jeff Buckley, and this poem is great. A little bottle or two is damn right. I saw the man play in Bristol in 199-something and he was incredible. My Makers Mark habit started that night. Anyhow. Glad your show went well.

A good effort. 7. Can't fault any kind of tribute to the late great Jeff Buckley. Bravo!
