I Wish (Free verse) by liljsmith87
I wish skies were always blue. The grass was always green. Mountaintops were snowy white, And trees were full of leaves. I wish love could not be broken, And feelings could not be hurt. All people were kind to each other, And some stories weren't so short. I wish one day I'd have a girl of mine, We would be forever in love, And we would never fight, But of course This is unheard of.

Not unheard of. Takes effort on both parts. Work on your descriptiveness. Good though.

Another good title would be "The glass is half empty."

I don't know too much about poetry, i am still quiet young in the scheme of things, but this is a nice daydream, reality does play a part. A road we all must eventually face. It's still nice to dream though. Sorry about the score, but you didn't have any use of real form in your writing, just content. We all learn as we grow.
ps- hope you find your girl.
