It could be a vase.... (Other) by Joyleaf
I could stick some flowers in it. I could put in on a table covered with a white table cloth. Then it would look like a vase, lovely and innocent, a sign of simple clean living. But it's not a vase. It's lacking flowers. It sits on my desk (which is covered with random papers) and looks like a good friend. Simple clean living is overrated.

Just curious... can you pick up on what it is? I was pretty confident that the object's true identity would be understood, but I'm reading it now, and I'm not sure.

To tell the truth I find the poem's mystery interesting!but sorry to disappoint you I really don't know what's that vaselike object!will you tell me?

To be perfectly straight-forward, the object is a water pipe. But I don't use it for tobacco... I'm sorta defiant, that way.
