Withering Blithering Blathering Wavering (Villanelle) by T. Jonathron Remp
Late, distant fog Early morning bog Smile, Smile, Punch, Pout Tragedy strikes, you're out! Mirror mirror on the subway Will our love ever part ways? Hark, ye trespasser of my Soul. Dip, Dive, Submerge your Sins in my Bin Lock the Key away in a Box Lock the Box with another Lock Lock the Lock with a Cinder Block Trapped, fumes released, chemical reaction Spastic drum machines flutter mindless melodies Come, dance Minstrel with my Menstrual Mongoose Come, cut loose before the Lynchers find you Stand aplenty, gunned down, run down Fool of the graveyard: Save your files on a hard drive, not a smart card!

Up the ladder: sperladnik: the sequel
Down the ladder: Through the eyes

I liked the first few lines because I could keep the beat.

That must have been all you had going, because once I lost the beat, I hated it.
