Poetic Blue Justice (Free verse) by Dovina
He carried a placard, handicap blue for use when parking’s tough He could walk a mile with a heavy load but why, when he had that sign? Then, in a wreck, he lost a leg can still drive, but cannot walk Thin wheels turn in his leather gloves from the back of the lot to the front Past cars in blue slots signs hanging from mirrors He carries a placard, handicap blue for use when parking’s tough

Up the ladder: tripped on an eggo

When I knew that my father was to pass on, I asked him to leave me his handicapped sign in his will.. for situations where you can't find a damn park! I enjoyed this Dovina. Thank you.

Like the meter and form and that S1 and S6 begin and conclude with the message .....

Cant help feeling this is a sandwich though without the filling.

Like: leather gloves, handicap blue, lost a leg - more of the character you serve up good images but too sporadically.

The beauty of your poem is that it's beautifully simple and It's just great

it's not about your poem
it's about you though

oh love... you have no kind of flaw or fault
so then we begin to sing and make love
everything that s excellent
let our hearts just as pure and fair
may beat in as one heart
