Poetic Blue Justice (Free verse) by Dovina
He carried a placard, handicap blue
for use when parkingâs tough
He could walk a mile with a heavy load
but why, when he had that sign?
Then, in a wreck, he lost a leg
can still drive, but cannot walk
Thin wheels turn in his leather gloves
from the back of the lot to the front
Past cars in blue slots
signs hanging from mirrors
He carries a placard, handicap blue
for use when parkingâs tough
