Phoenix (Free verse) by Celticai
I’m bleeding Cut to the quick Stressed, distressed, undressed Modern medicine is my bane I'm naked Bare to the bone Implored, bored, ignored Eyes turned away in shame I’m hurting Heart ripped in two Faded, degraded, abraded The yawning abyss remains Where is my rebirth?

Up the ladder: Cockroaches
Down the ladder: Again with the venting

Your rebirth is waiting on a lone mountain trail where wanderers like us go to flush the plaque from our arteries and the smoke from our brains. Try it.
