Love for an Armadillo (Free verse) by Absorbed Intellect
There is an armadillo he lives underneath my bath only comes out on wednesdays he always has a right laugh From the moment I met him it was like instant love I sat with him and ate pizza while he sat eating a dove He visits the casino like me he loves to gamble sometimes he comes home dancing it is an utter shamble Once fought with an anteater because he stepped on its dad he didn't mean to at all actually he felt bad Once he visited China went to see the local sights he found a good deal online he booked some really cheap flights So that's my armadillo back under the bath he goes when will he make his return nobody actually knows Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday

Up the ladder: Artemis and the Rain
Down the ladder: The Hindu Kush
