Empathy with the childhood dreams (Prose Poem) by Prince of Void
Empathy with the childhood dreams Since my childhood dream’s died I’m wandering along all deserted streets To the land how much it was green Now its light is getting darker I’m getting colder and older After all days thorough all curving roads Just shadows remained upon these nostalgic walls The walls of past project images Washed and drifted inside me They ring in my eyes as tears Falling down in the ocean of void Dying down thorough time They end within irreversible moments In the grieving and clouded heart of mine there is nothing to do Just empathy what I have lost Since I was born

The last two lines had me nodding in agreement - some lives gain very little, and others nothing at all.
