My life

I am a dreamer a weaver of thoughts My mind paints a picture and in it I'm caught I've seen dragons and magic and money and love, I've swum like a fish and flown high above They catch me with irons and hold my head down, It's hard to break free from this solid gold crown If you see me one day a blank look on my face I'm probably a runner who's winning his race. Wake me up please I'd think you were kind I feel like a prisoner trapped in my mind. I'm tired of dreaming my mind has gone numb I'm afraid when I wake I'll just be a bum.
