The pale hand of a lady on my arm (Free verse) by thepinkbunnyofdoom
The ghost whispered my name And to her call I came So many things left unsaid Begging to spill from my head Yet dust swallowed my throat So I left the dead a note We are all merely shades Leftovers from the light that fades Holding on, afraid to let go When in the end we all know Waiting for our time to come Often early for the unlucky some

Up the ladder: comfort
Down the ladder: Sinistral Defenses
