Road from roma (Free verse) by Skamper
ever consider the beauty of a tree the wonder of branches that twist an impossible vision clothes-lined arms reach over head an immaculate purchase -rope torn noose- damn the cd! and it’s emo-flacidity! a succubus for imagination tearing away the landscape raping dreams a pick-pocket sneaky and demure but - a stinking thief all the same crank the tunes cotton eye joe refute the matrimonial state! and the trees rage at the techno re-mix who made this mp3 road-trip creation? not too subtle undertones maniacal and macabre I blame god - for swaying the leaves my way pushing the artist in creation of musical talents stirring blood back that ass up for giving designers A politically correct vision of unisex showers

Up the ladder: The Runt
Down the ladder: I'll take the blame
