Demands of a Hostile Angel (Free verse) by MacFrantic
He who hath the blessed wings Impatient in his wrath Proclaims a frenzied list of rash demands He who cast this spectacle Most base in its device Brandishes a splendid sword In coarse and bloodstained hands Morbid demon Rapture finds thee spoiled Forgiving God In chaos finds thee coiled Were you mindful Might Love's swoon Raze thy anger Lift thy doom Oh ungrateful one For what a price thy soul That much desired lash? Or for hope's conspired cache? Find yet both in boundless, barren shoals

Up the ladder: Dovina
Down the ladder: the invisible beauty
