demiurge (Free verse) by crin
i've heard of a ghost train in vegas that carries men to heaven and hell that takes them to the land of the gods and delivers them into the hands of the damned where devils trade souls where pennies from heaven rain down where angels dare not tread where little voices whisper "kill kill" i've heard of a ghost train in vegas that carries hope and betrayal that grants some men the graces of god and leaves countless others forever condemned where lost souls sell cigarettes where holy men sin where the blessed vacate the premises before the voices whisper again

Up the ladder: Gastric Sadness
Down the ladder: The Sands Of Galway

This poem makes me wonder if you have ever been to Vegas or just watched what it is like to be there on some travel channel. If you have been there, well, then your observations are just weak. So is this poem.
