In your plastic environments
From your own warped conscience
You call god science
Evolution one man cried
Logic built from his own warped pride
In his town, his world
Masks and fabrications
Plastic propaganda
Sell his manifestations.
Grey scattered fragments
Of the selfless lost,
Idealistic fantasy
Of the life you tossed
Away that replaces green.
Seen is the concrete jungle of urban man.
Machine.
Put into work long since
To avoid mortal inconvenience.
Products of pacifism
In your fake optimism
Plastic smiles,
And twisted intuition
Idealistic fantasies lie in wait,
Plight of balanced few contemplate.
10000 years of spiritual philosophy
100 years to break an ideology.
Evolution!
One man cried,
Typical monotony
Of modern society.
Vanity.
T.V. shows end.
Send more plastic fabrications
To make our lives mend.

i like the sentiment a lot, and i agree with the main points. But somehow the poem itself really doesn't move me. needs some sort of concrete imagery to give the invective grounding. worry not though, this is just one lunatic's opinion.
So are you saying that religious wars make for a more interesting life? That's what I'm taking from this poem.
well your a bit stupid then arent you. What do you take from the words 'Spritual philosophy', I dont even mention religion or religious wars for that matter. Besides, people make war for more than just faith. Im talking about the vanity of an idealistic western socity thats butchering the planet and playing god.
You don't mention religious wars, but you seem to be saying that godless pacifism is a blight on the world, which would imply that you think religious activism is a good thing. 'Plastic pacifism' = bad. Evolution and logic (from 'warped pride') = bad. So presumably the oppoosite of those, religious activism, equals good.
What do i take from '10000 years of spiritual philosophy'? Well I don't think you've read much Western philosophy. Ten thousand years? Even the semitic philosophy only goes back, what, six thousand? And I don't know if that can be classed as Western. Not in origin, anyway. Ultimately, with your above comment, this seems to be you saying that ideology is empty and soulless because it encourages inactivity. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't need to tell me how much of a gargantuan dunce I am. I already know.
