A missing puzzle piece. (Free verse) by trev086
Today is the day where people shall cry Today is the day where there???s a whole in the sky Our eyes turning red Now people are dead. The towers once standing so straight and tall Theres a missing piece, and now all has gone wrong Searching and searching through all that rubble, If people were smart, there would be no trouble Now in our heart, there is an addition But in the middle of New York, there are 2 pieces missing. Today is the day where people shall cry Today is the day where there???s a whole in the sky. -Trevor Greene

is this some kind of school assignment? Please, try not to be so predictable. I respect your writing, but capture something else...with all due respect. 5/10

this is painful, but not for the reason you want it to be.

Thanks for writing something on this issue, Trev; you've got more guts than I do. What is the addition to our heart?

Oh brother must we continue to read these poor poems. But it gets Frass' Sad Sap approval award!!

I prefer to refer to 'raw poetry', where even the most pathetically pedantic should be able to separate wheat from chaff.
