A Boy Without Rain (Free verse) by D. $ Fontera
In the recesses of doubt and distraction I find—fire Lightning strikes my vertigo on the mountain And I snap I lose the grasp I had on Evergreen, this pit of errors Where love is aggrandized Where love spells red letters Where I find this licking light Can’t complain, friend I’ve never endured myself so long At times where the fire looms enormous, friend How today, shadow? Tell me what to do when I don’t want to do Anything Please let me put the flames out Before they grow and engulf us both I wish it would rain I wish that Biblical storm would wash away—me My fickle figure with a freaking smile Smile, You You lecherous family man I’ll do it myself then I’ll stamp it out this once But it will take more then that to put me off I’m already on fire, so try again A man without that precious rain Dividing my muses—one by one

A nice theme, there, and I like the last four lines....

Pls punctuate. It's like I have to re read to get the right tone and flow of words.

Periods are overrated, and their absence is not nearly as annoying as ridiculous abbreviations such as Pls.
