Waikiki (Free verse) by dana071287
The golden ball fell below the horizon, creating a beautiful site to gaze on To silhouettes the buildings turned, the torches lit with fire burned. Palm trees speckled the white shore, making a paradise one’s heart longs for. Cool breezes cause the palm trees to wave while surfers wait to catch one final wave. Sounds of the hula fill the air, and people relax without a care. White powdery sand filled gaps between toes leaves one left without any woes.

Up the ladder: Beneath the Willow Tree
Down the ladder: A-looky here.
