The Rose (Free verse) by sk8rs_rule_all
The rose is dying gracefully, aging with love. Its distinct beauty lies where it was once before. The smell of each rises out of each petal, as if it were just picked. The color switching from white, to pink, to brown.

Up the ladder: prosepiece
Down the ladder: Dear God

Try "The smell rises out of each petal." The repetition of "each" is an obstacle for the reader.

You're young, so we'll go easy:

There is an extremely famous movie called The Rose, featuring an extremely famous song called The Rose. It's regrettable, but we've decided it's best if no one ever names anything The Rose ever again.

Thanks,
The Human Race
