-untitled- (Free verse) by MacFrantic
Carrion's distraught embrace A falling angel's face A life's long honest morn Amidst the melancholy corn Diphthong's ripe imbalance Often crested high with ice Military turbulence from Curling flames suffice Light cascading sandy darkness Brimming to a stunted press Spanning fate's eternal sight In combs of colorless delight Sharp congealing apparition Cautiously prepared Meet in undeveloped sunsets Twisted mouth's despair Luminous distention bends To sacrosanct pathetic ends Palsied condescending smiles Wallowing in empty wiles

Up the ladder: The Raw Vegan Potluck
Down the ladder: wait and see

Except for stanza 2 this made me think of a news photographer, possibly a war reporter in a darkroom developing photographs (not that he'd be doing much else in a darkroom, I assume). Not sure what to make of stanza 2.
I like the choice of language here, although it's fairly zany in places it nonetheless retains a semblance of sense. I struggle with 'Diphthong's ripe imbalance' though.
Enjoyed. 8
