Paradise (Free verse) by TLRufener
There is a little place Far over the rainbow, Past the wishing star, And onward from Never Never land; The water is crystal blue Along the white sandy beach And glittering palms Wave in the summertime breeze. Clouds never block the sun As the rain pours down And the air is always comfortable Even when the breeze is away. Flower always bloom Along the forest trails While sweet-sounding birds Fill the sky with their songs. Sunrise is just as beautiful No matter when you wake As the sun always rises Just after you do. Sunset is breathtaking As it lowers over the waves And you never miss it Since the sun sets Just before you do.

Down the ladder: Waiting
