A SURREAL DEPREDATION! (Free verse) by anushree
The silken voice beckons me...... Irresistible as the honey is to the bee. The invisible arms are wide open for me...... Consoling me like a mother to its infant baby. The darkness feels alarmingly soothing..... Ramifications of these new feelings are de trop and scary. On sleepless nights she preaches me......... That love is as elusive as sleep to an insomniac. Those coal black eyes stare at me..... Gently hypnotizing me. Numb and senseless in this haze..... I follow her into the devious bait. Enraptured by the vanishing of my pains........ I get sucked with expediency of a quick sand lacking grace A quixotic to the boot.... I embrace this new world calm, complacent and cool. Deliberately denying the whispers and the wisdoms of ages...... That loneliness cannot give solace to human beings.

Up the ladder: good morning
Down the ladder: A Glass of Water

The ...... is only distracting. Typo in line 6. Some good lines here, but what are you saying?

Sorry, but I am unable to connect with this poem. Phrases are good, but somehow it doesn't balance on the whole.
