the birds are still here (Free verse) by ay deee there are these birds
living in the trees outside my house
tonight i can hear two of them
one of them says
chirp chirp
and the other one says
chirp
and they go back and forth
back and forth
its like a nice little circle
hey hey
i'm here
every once in a while
one of them says
chirpchirpchirpchirp chirp chirp
and the other one says
chirp
where the hell are you at
i'm here
most of the time when i go out there
there are lots of birds talking
and i cant tell what any of them are saying
