No More Tomorrows (Free verse) by PoeticOne
Stop this pain From running me into the ground Your face is there every time I close my… eyes Always waiting for another Always waiting for tomorrow to… end And what can I say if you are the only one And what would I need to show you that you’re the perfect one for me Do you know how my heart burns every time I see you? No, I doubt you know I don’t think you care But I wish I could make you see this Fire isn’t only me And with you here This could be the only thing I have dreamed please don’t leave Just say you’ll stay here with… me Driving down the highway music blasting through our ears It was so perfect just the two of us why couldn’t it of stayed that way And now it turns that you want to run away from me But every time I wont set you free Maybe this once I should set you free And let this world rip us apart I can’t see this is blinding me You want to leave and it’s killing me Why wont you stay and be the only one I need It won’t matter You want to run from me So I set you free This world wont let me breathe And I’ll stand here as I watch you leave Unable to breath Suffocating while your not coming back to save me In the end you’ll never get another chance I wont be…
