Distracted (Free verse) by pletcgm
Last night, was a special time. You made me laugh. You made me happy. You made me. This morning I got up. I rode my bike through the woods. For a brief two seconds, My thoughts were all on you. It was pure utopia. As my mind was all on you, Your beauty blinded me. My eyes saw nothing but you as I hit the tree. My ribs broke. The pain set in. My mind was dazed, Thinking of you.

Up the ladder: He Will Be Loved
Down the ladder: Count the Days

Starts off well enough, but is too simply said toward the end.
