sad moments (Free verse) by rbooey
I wish that i could close my eyes And just drift off to sleep And find the place where happiness Is there for me to keep And everyone around me is A friend whom i will be Forever in thier company Because this place that we Are sleeping is called heaven Its a place where you can rest Forever, cos you go there For all time, not as a guest You leave what you were living In the past,so you can go And try to get away from What unhappiness you know And have a better future in A place you know will be Just full of love and happiness And death gives you the key.

Up the ladder: For my darling Lori
Down the ladder: Deep-Fried

Good luck to you. Personally, I imagine God being thoroughly Old Testament and all of us getting the fiery poker in the rump.

i wasn't really thinking about god when i wrote it,and you're probably right about the poker.

Please, fix the misspellings. You don't have anything exciting or artful here, just a dull meditation on the afterlife. I have been forced to read many, many poems like this and smile indulgently at their authors and say "it's nice." Online, however, I have no compunction about telling you that this poem is worthless. I mean that as no offense, I'm just telling you what I think.
