I watch the birds from my window fly to buildings Only one falls behind never more I watch the people time losing its name staring at hand signs

Up the ladder: Underground Pipes
Down the ladder: Never to Part

A haiku goes 5-7-5 and is an observation of nature, a theme you altogether loose in the last stanza. No problem with me, but call it a free haiku then, or something like that.
