(Sad Little) Soulmates (Free verse) by AtomIcPromIse
Truth is I am weak where you are strong, I can’t think that we belong, But when I’m with you, I feel so weird as though I actually like you, But do I? I really can’t tell. Is this heaven or is this hell? I never really used to think about it, It’s like I knew I was in hell… Could it change? Was never a thought- But I’ve only just begun to feel, The way that you’re supposed feel- When your heart is no longer chained to a block, At the bottom of the world, Empty-cold-dead, Am I alive or are we soulmates, Destined to break apart?

Up the ladder: grampa told us stories
Down the ladder: Ode to a Friend
