Something in your eyes! (Free verse) by kawakurdi
You are a coincidental co-passenger You are an alien stranger No, no, no! Please don't turn your looks away from me There is something in your eyes telling me: In my blood you are a host The horizons of my soul you hold In my dreams you reside Whatever colour, whatever race you may be The burden of whatever fate you may carry There is a secret in your eyes telling me You are a lifetime friend of mine In fantasy, you are my fan In madness, you are my mate In exile, you are my mirror-image. Please, don't turn your looks away There is something in your eyes wishes to say: You have been my age-old friend.

Up the ladder: One wish
Down the ladder: Time
