To Show is Three (Free verse) by MacFrantic What exactly,
is the color of happiness?
To show is three wonders,
but to know is more.
More than sight or speech,
vivid as they may be.
It is surprisingly dark
but to most it glitters.
It is confined
and it is lonely.
Fleeting happiness!
To show is no wonder,
but to know is to grow
and no wonder,
it shows.

The answer to your opening question seems to be "Happiness is confined and it is lonely," but the words are tangled and it's hard to tell.
