Desprately Seeking Arcadia (Free verse) by syntheticcream
I am just drifting from day to day Trying desprately to make my way. My souls not dead it's asleep, It seems to be so worthless and weak. My soul's not dead just resting Waiting, hoping to wake and rise. So take me from the place i'm resting To a place of truth and not lies. The place were dreamers go To frolic in the harsh white snow. There, the talented all gather, And only the important will matter. So help me save my soul tonight From it's dark, deep and decolate sleep, Take it to see the most wonderful sights, Take it there and it will be there to keep.

Up the ladder: The Story of Our Lives
Down the ladder: mask; an infidelity
