It's disturbingly quiet in this empty home A very sad and depressing scene Ghosts of laughter seem to roam The hallways and my dreams No one comes to visit No one seems to call Nothing lifts my spirit Nothing at all Some days I hear you sing And I see your smiling face Makes me think about the joy it used to bring I miss that happy place I guess home really is where the heart is And with you wast he most at home I feel Not a Newbie's or the fizz Our friendship was real Some say your life is what you make it Not sure if that's true I kind of wonder where my life went Wish there was something I could do To bring back the laughter and the joy The contentment I felt when we didn't even speak a word Sometimes I even miss the noise I thought we understood each other, I must be absurd Guess it's trule like that song I heard the other day "you can dream about it every now and then" As Wynonna would say "But you can't go home again"
