thoughts on a long lazy day (Free verse) by francis nor capule
i fondly recall those conversations we had every morning , the distance notwithstanding, and how i wished you there at my side then and there... the way i'd wait for you to tell me that you'd be leaving soon, so i could just get a glimpse of you, as you walk away. how i would think of what you think , and what you want, and what you will. those would still be the best days that i ever had. and it brings to my heart a soft warmth... just remembering.

the leaving lines are too close together, I think. Maybe you were going for a repetition thing there, but I think it would work better if you changed one of the leavings to something else.
