the stone (Free verse) by BigB
She fiddled with it. The insignificant stone entrenched firmly on her little finger. She thought she had it all. But now she wanted out. Impulsively she wrenched the wretched stone off. It shattered, disintegrated to dust. Memories swirled into the empty nothingness. She had had enough. And now she wanted out.

Up the ladder: Footsteps
Down the ladder: Money Back
