On the Discovery of Cinder Cats and The Road More Traveled (Limerick) by MacFrantic
Somewhere deep in the woods of Japan Lives a group of black cats in a clan When they strike you'd best hide 'Cause to fight's suicide And they'd piss on your corpse if you ran At the fork in the trees where I ponder I am faced with which way I'm to wander The path to my right Is an awfully poor sight But the one on the left is much longer

Up the ladder: Laughing
Down the ladder: Ode to the Sun

Very funny little poem. I like the second stanza a lot more than the first and I think it could stand alone.

It's very cute.

If you are familiar with them, all of my limericks come in unrelated pairs. And thank you very much

Why is that? Is there a purpose to linking them together? Why don't you publish them separately. It would make it easier to read and appreciate them without comparing them to each other.

There was a reader who claimed his frustration
because twixt the limericks there was no relation.
But he shouldn't complain --
for 't'ain't all who can claim
they witnessed dada's revivification!
