Ghostly Rememberance (Free verse) by Beyond_Dreams
Out on the roof he sat in the cold on that dark night. He was freezing from the water that he fell in, it was as cold as ice. He ran on the rocks over the river feeling the hush of the winter breeze past my face. and the snow flakes bounce off his swirling hands. But it was her that laughed at him; telling him he was going nowhere. She smiled while running her fingers over his. So he sits on the roof looking up at the sky, As everyone looks up at him staring wondering why. The wind begins to blow again. The coldness he then begins to feel. A tear starts to form, Remembering the ghost in his life. He blamed her for being right. So he'll pretend.... But he's no fool anymore, predestined position. Oh he loves her now as he loved her then. When he whistled and sang her name, reaching for the stars the same way; but shes the one who got away. Made it over the rivers rocks and left him outside freezing in the cold icy rain. Her fingers never met his again.

Up the ladder: Coffee is my new God!
Down the ladder: Aromatherapy
