Below Tide (Haiku) by D. $ Fontera
Please don't cry for me We are lost beneath the sea Far too young to be Hold me long and tight Before the ocean trembles And takes us away My arms are heavy The days are so dark and cold I will not leave you There is hope out here But little for very few Oh please be enough Life does not forgive Death, so indiscriminate We shall not forget *In memory of all the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, lovers, workers, friends, heroes, dreamers, thinkers, and artists,(poets all of them) who have already been lost or are yet to be found due to the Asian Tsunamis of December 2004... how quickly we fly from this world of ours.

Verse 2 is especially nice. It can happen anywhere.

A nice sentiment. Hard to make an emotional dent in an event of such scope.
