It’s like I’m trying to breathe And I cannot when you look at me Everything you do makes me pause And wonder how someone could be so incredible. I know I don’t show it well, I know my ways are not of the norm, But this is the only way I know, I’m praying that someone will show me another path. And I believe that someone could be you I believe in you and everything you do. You have made me so much more Than I was before You showed me your light When I was bathed in my darkness. You mean the world to me… Sometimes I stray from you Sometimes I do exactly what I shouldn’t do But you have to know You have to understand That when a smile comes upon my face It’s because you take me to another place, A place where I can be myself And I can be content.

Much like the unsavoury whoosh emitted when one inserts one's foot into a wellington.
