Misperceptions (Free verse) by cuddlytiger17
Sleep- The simplest solution to all that’s wrong Consume a few too many pills And oh so magically Everything disappears Off on an endless journey You’re imagination as your guide Nothing’s real, nothing lasts Time is your only restriction Sailing through this sweet euphoria Silent screams forever echoing A deceptive imprisonment Only as you imagine it And before you blink Its gone again Reality an unfeasible perception.

Up the ladder: Soured
Down the ladder: it's quiet
