Love Spoke (Free verse) by MistressSnow
I heard a man speak today And it was not with his voice I heard him say I love you As if he had no choice Ivory keys lay before him And trembling hands reached out to play And then a dance for only lovers Spoke the words he longed to say Inside my soul was shaking And to breathe it hurt my heart I knew the pain hit him too For tears began to start The pain was not for any anger It came from neither fear, nor deceit It arose from a feeling deep within Too powerful for ends to meet And every note his fingers struck Were sounded with the greatest strength I knew we had no boundaries No ends to love, no length I used to wonder long ago If this was forever or would it seize Now all my doubts my worries Have vanished within this piece Our reality is to true and beautiful For words, for me and you I made the best choice in my life When I said to you, I do I heard a man speak today In this heaven of an earth He said all that could be said In a composition of our worth And I look at him now and I see immortality I see the depths of his heart Who on earth ever said Angels only play harps
