Mexican Party in the Park (Free verse) by New Life Drug
The crickets whisper your name And I drift into dreams of you So meet me in the shadow Past the Mexican party And hold me close Never take me home We can drink Mucho Mango It's vitamin C fortified In the grass will we lay Like the lovers oblivious that the public isn't invisible Read me a story outloud Although I won't listen I'll just stare at your eyes The ones that blink In flashes of blue On a blanket of comfort We'll fall asleep after we Gape up at spaces between These branches and leaves I've noticed people in love walk slow But you and I, We don't need to move

Up the ladder: Honesty
Down the ladder: The Chamber
