Alterpiece (Free verse) by Torok
(a meditation of lust, desire and love) study: A lady in her bedroom 'Mirror mirror on the wall Who is most beautifull?' If you heard the answer 'you are' It does not come from the mouth in the mirror That shapes not words but silent kisses As you rise from the bed Making no noise, no interuption They move over to you in the air As wax coats cheese, They stand you up smiling there Before the mirror Shaping and preserving You as beautiful Because they feel you so That you see through what the eye says To the body that the hands have made And this is what it is that prays 'i am , i am'
