Society (Free verse) by QuirkyWonder The darkness of my soul
Envelops the warmth of my heart
I can see all that is happening around me
But I cannot prevent it
The cold takes over my body
I cannot feel myself anymore
Society has taken over me
My fashion, my freedom, my feelings
As I stand by the fire of myself
I gain back what society has taken away
I am who I want to be
Despite what our society says
The warmth of my heart
Envelops the darkness of my soul
I can see all that is happening around me
Now I have the strength to change it

How sad...well the typos are changed. As far as you passing out, hopefully it was not on the keyboard, that would be slightly uncomfortable!
