Darkness has settled upon the land There is no one here to hold my hand I wander a child lost and alone With no one to help me find my way home The path before it hilly and dark The path behind has left it’s un-erasable mark I have nowhere to go and one to trust I am fending for myself through the clouds of dust What happened to my friend who knew the way Why has she allowed me to go astray Frightened tears stream down my face There is no way I can find a safer place Sadness mists over my sight I cannot see my way without the light The stars have abandoned me without reason Everything is so dark I cannot tell the season When I entered this wood spring flowers bloomed But where the flowers were nothing looms I have lost my way as everything looks the same I no longer have the strength to play this game I can only hope that I will wake from this dream And someone will come along to rescue me
