.....this....
is all a girl wants,
really, a picture
of johnny depp was on
the front page
of her diary
slight frame enshrouded
in modest designer button-down
holding back
worlds of tenderness
the first three undone,
hair set to tousle,
hips invisible like
the ghost-image
that ties
their tired heads together
dizzied over
by their dream calling,
pursed piece
of tender lips
all the girls want.

Johnny can 21 jump street me anytime. nice.
Once I got past your name I could almost read the poem objectively.
"a picture" can go, along with the hips allusion. The ending seems a little too abrupt - or trite. Interested to see the rewrite. 255 view(s)
