THE HIT

I take the hit The mind swims The body paralysed So this is euphoria? If so i never want to leave this cacoon of smoke and ash I attempt to speak but the silence overpowers me Everything makes sense, the trees, the sky, the body and soul and the numbness of my mind Hours pass Minutes seep into history Its my turn again I take the hit and collapse into a heap on the floor No movement apart from the mind I smile I think Another wasted day.
