Strings and Sinews (Free verse) by aburiedlife so i take a broken seashell
and scrape out everthing
dead and dying
from inside my chest
and end up lighter
and finally clean
but colder than i
have ever been
staying warm just as long
as i keep walking
because i came to one day
thrown clear of the wreckage
amazed that i could just walk away

It's confusing. I think you're trying to say that you're amazed that you can just throw away all the bad things in your life, but I'm not completely sure. If you edit, I'd try to make this a little clearer.
