Randomness (Free verse) by QuirkyWonder
I'm going to just sit here And write whatever pops into my head About how much I don't understand How much I wish I did understand Always asking why? Second guessing who I am Every day Must everyone seem to be So immune to this insanity Of life and death And what is what What are we destined for And how do we know when we have reached it? All these questions will never have answers Because they seem to just be open ended With no definite answer

Up the ladder: No Love
Down the ladder: Stabbed with a Carrot

"I am most definitely my own person. I am funny, honest, outgoing, quirky (hence the s/n), unique...and as everyone I have met says...I am 'special'."

I think your website sums you up in a nutshell. You really are special, and I hope you always remember how lucky you are to be that way. It's because of your wonderfully unique personality that you can sit down and write whatever pops into your head, just like you've done with this piece. I really think you hit the nail on the head when you said that life's questions just seem to be open ended with no definite answer. I guess everyone has their own opinion on life and death and what we are destined for. Opinions are everything, and there really is no such thing as a wrong opinion. Apart from those opinions that say that other opinions are wrong, in which case those opinions are the wrong opinions, not the opinions they claim to refute. What do you think? Great poeme -10-

Opinions are opinions. You can not classify them as wrong or right. That is like telling someone that they can not think the things they are thinking. We have to realize that we are all living in our own worlds (our own heads) and that we must learn to be accepting of the fact that we happen to all live on this same planet. So as far as a wrong or right opinion, it does not exist. Simply think what you want to think. A difference of opinions makes us learn more about life.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 17? Because you're really, really thick. And you've also obviously never read any Hume.

Here are some of my opinions: "2 + 2 = 8". "Dogs have no bum". "Water is wet."

See if you can classify any of those as "wrong" or "right"!! [5 marks]

Well I am definitely so sad that I lost points because of your opinion. Definitely not between those ages. And in my OPINION those are facts, not opinions. They are statements that can be proved true or false. Your opinion on my poem is not something that you can prove true or false. It is what you believe. But if you happen to believe those opinions that "2+2=8", "Dogs have no bum", and "water is wet", well then I suppose that you are entitled to your opinion, although I am sure that everyone can prove you wrong and everyone will think you are stupid!

Reading back on that, some of your opinions are wrong, and some are right. But if that is what you think, is anyone really going to be able to prove you wrong? Read what you wrote in your first comment..."Opinions are everything, and there really is no such thing as a wrong opinion."...so now you are a hypocrite? I love stupid people.....

Given that you have now established that I hold contradictory opinions, you have proved that I must have at least one wrong opinion. Therefore opinions can be wrong, and moreover it can be proven that wrong opinions exist. So your opinion that opinions are neither wrong nor right (c.f 'So as far as a wrong or right opinion, it does not exist') has just been exposed as the most devastatingly wrong opinion of all. I'm so sorry.

Only if as your premise you accept that opinions can be right or wrong.

Your reading comprehension is really improving!! But look there, at the top of QuirkyWonder's comment: "Reading back on that, some of your opinions are wrong, and some are right." NO FUCKING MARKS.

Re: "Is anyone really going to be able to prove you wrong?"

You've confused the idea that some people will refuse to give up their opinions with the idea that all opinions are equally valid. Some people refuse to eat anything but Ham-burgers, but that doesn't make all diets equally healthy.

Well think what you will. I do not feel like having an internet arguement with someone that I do not even know. So thanks for your opinions.

Do people really seem immune to you?

Yes. Can you really say that everyone makes sense to you? That you know the reason behind there every action?

If we all knew the answers... what would we be living for?
