Eahtatiene (Free verse) by 1Sapphire1
Her allure rests in the grace of her silhouette. Yet her essential charm is the quickness of her smile. Where does her heart lie? Do I have a chance to be that lucky guy? Her Hellenic eyes were caught on the spectrum between blue and yellow. ......Caution tinges my approach; It doesn't seem to effect every other fellow. The laughter in her voice betrays her youth. I'd ask her out, except that would be so uncouth. From a distance I circle, trying to find a way into her heart. But I know time is short; and this is tearing me apart. I hope our friendship can catch fire. But she considers me an "acquiantance", not an object of desire. Circumvent and attainment, this is my endeavor. .......But I would be fortunate to just touch her life because I am quite certain, that I will soon lose her forever.

Up the ladder: How I Wish
Down the ladder: Come tonight I'm waiting

your poem suffers from rhymningitis. The only thing to do is put it to sleep, before it kills again

I disagree. Doesn't seem at all forced to me. I like.
